Stillpoint.

A small studio for slow practice

Stillness is a practice,
not a destination.

We keep things quiet here. No mirrors, no leaderboards, no music you have to talk over.

A class begins the moment you lie down and let the day settle out of your shoulders. Whatever you carried in, you're welcome to set it down at the door and pick up only what you want to keep.

Come as you are. Breathe as you can. The rest tends to follow.

The week

Who you'll practice with

The teachers

Portrait of Mara

Mara

Sunrise Vinyasa

Teaches the early classes, and means it — she thinks the first breath of the day quietly decides the rest.

Portrait of Devin

Devin

Slow Flow

Long holds, unhurried transitions. He learned to move well by first learning how to wait.

Portrait of Lena

Lena

Restorative

Believes stillness is the hardest pose in the room, and the one most worth practising.

Portrait of Ora

Ora

Yin & Breath

Keeps the lights low on purpose. Softens the pace until the mind finally agrees to slow down too.

The room

A warm place to land

One studio, wood floors, tall windows, and enough props for everyone. That's all it needs to be.

Soft morning light across the studio floor
A quiet corner with folded blankets and bolsters
Mats laid out and waiting before class
Ground floor, 214 Almond Row — shoes off at the door, tea on when you leave.
